Dear All,
as announced on the EUNIS Website, our University at Duisburg-Essen is
hosting the first national Moodle conference in Germany on March 28th and
29th 2007. Full information (in German) on the Website www.moodle07.de. The
Conference is in German, but two of the Key Notes (Martin Dougiamas by
video-conferencing from Austrial, Niall Sclater of the Open University, are
in English.

At this conference I am organising a workshop on the topic:
Moodle in European Higher Education and Cross-Sector Projects - Best
Practice and Cooperation Projects.
In the first part of the 90 min. workshop on March 28th, various European
university and cross sector projects are presented briefly. In the second
part, we will look at possibilities of creating a community of practice of
using Moodle in higher education and particularly cross-sector education and
training. In this context we will also looking at possibilities of European
funding. If need be, we will find a possibility to continue the workshop or
informal meetings on the same subjects on the following day.
So far, I have the following contributions for this workshop (the titles are
still working titles):
Moodle in Business Training for Women in Russia and in a
Russian-Austrian Cooperation project (Profs. Akhmetova and Nevskaya,
Technical University Perm)
Moodle for Linguistics in Russia and China (Prof. Raster, University
of Duisburg-Essen)
Moodle in the project SIMPEL (SMEs: Improving Practices in
E-Learning) (member of the consortium, not yet finalised)
I have still slots for one or two more contributions. Please, let me know
