I am setting up moodle at the school I work at and one of the things we want to do is setup the forums so before a post someone has submitted is shown a teacher or administrator needs to approve the post in a forum. Is there someone that can direct me in the correct direction on how to accomplish this? I know that another school is doing this. Thanks for the help.

It's not possible to set up a forum with posts requiring approval before they made available to everyone, however this is indeed a feature of both the Glossary module and the Database module.

I really don't think it is possible to moderate the forums in the way you want. There are some other options that do work the way you want. Don't ask me how to implement it but here is a link to the discussion.
