Is that person trying to connect to your ssh server, or the mysql server? As user root?

Is this a brute-force attack? You can always find the owner of the OP address and file a formal complain.

In practice, this type of attempts are very often, you need to have a sound securty concept!

I went to look at your site and I noticed you have a language translation software that ran when I viewed your news in English.

We have a large Arab population in Dearborn, MI and I was wondering what software you use?
