people, I've been already months in this issue sad
i have a 1.7 site, and i need it to display a navigation bar with breadcrumb (just like the moodle.org website, in which navbar I see now:
-but all in one line; it's strange that when you make copy&paste it displays like this).

i've been looking everywhere, and simply didn't succeed. my navbar just shows name of site, --->, and name of course currently displayed. anyone can tell me please which file i have to edit, and what to change in it, etc?
thanx in advance,

daniEl

Hi All,

I am facing a similar problem. I am unable to get the browser to display a > sign for the separator instead of which it displays a square as show above. I think it is using some ascii values for utf-8 encoding but any tips to make it display the desired character with only tweaks to the server and no additional requirement at client end?

Best Regards

uday

Uday,

Have a look here at the reasons why the > displays differently depending on your settings:

Hi Brian,

Thanks so much for responding to the repeated question. I have tried to make all the updates mentioned on the post but for some reason cant get it to work as yet. Let me try again and see if I can make it to work.

Best Regards
