We have reported this bug that we have encountered this week - has anyone else had similar problems in 1.7? Feedback would be greatly appreciated.

When enrolling a student in any way shape or form, the user "enrols" in the course, then when you click on them from the course participant list, they are shown as not enrolled in the course, they also do not recieve rights to access the course, we are currently relying upon all people accessing as guests. This is an extremely serious problem, no students can properly use moodle because guessts are unable to submit information to the courses activity modules...
