How do you embed audio like on the front page of moodle.org ???

I cant seem to figure it out

create a link with the linkbutton in your editor to an uploaded .mp3-file and the player appears

As Koen said (and it took me forever to figure it out)...

1) upload an audio file (mp3) into the course or into the main files section (depending on where it will be used.)
2) Right click to identify it's URL
3) Enable the Multimedia Filter in your Admin Panel
4) In a HTML text page or when posting to a forum, use the Insert Web Link tool to link to the URL of the Audio.

With this you should get the small icon with the play and pause options.

I see, You have to highlight text then goto the weblink I was thinking I could just make it from the file and no need for a text link

...no-the-less I got it now ...thanx guys !
