What version of Moodle? What version of Apache/MySQL/PHP do you have on your MAC? When you say a "PC Server" do you mean Windows or Linux?
To answer your questions without knowing all your details though, yes you should be able to move Moodle simply by dumping the old database and copying over the /moodle directory. After doing the move and making sure things work, I'd recommend going up to Moodle 1.6.3 or even 1.7.0.
