Sizing popup windows

Sizing popup windows

I'm using Firefox 2.0 and Moodle 1.6.1. When I Compose a web page, I specify New window and I adjust the Default window width and Default window height until that the material just fits. I determine this iteratively by pressing Save changes and checking the size of the "preview."

However when I click the resource link on the course page, the popup dimensions are different.

I suspect that the preview is not interpreting the dimensions properly. Is this a known bug? If so, is there a workaround?

Did anyone have an answer to this?  I have the same problem (Moodle 1.8 and 1.9 sites ie7).  My pop-ups are always practically full screen width no matter what I do.

Thanks Guys

John, I am not sure about your version.

Greg, When you creat a resource try clicking the advanced options button. This will show advanced options. There you will be able to set the screen size. If noting is in the width & hieght boxes it will default to full size. Also you will probably want to select show in new window.

I hope this helps.
