On demo.moodle.org I try create forum which can use only teachers. I added forum and overrode role "Student" for this forum: prevented all capabilities. Right?
Then I tried use "Switch role to..." student. It didn't work. Student can see posts... Then I logged in as student. In this situation student can't view posts ("You do not have the permission to view discussions in this forum"), but view information about post in block "Recent Activity" and view this forum. I must hide this forum? Another question: capabilities "Can see" and "Update" doesn't exist? This capabilities can be very useful and powerful...
