Enlarge editor does not work

Since I uploaded Moodle 1.6.3+ to a provider's Web server (on Linux), I can not use the Enlarge editor button in HTML editor, either in IE 6 or in Firefox. IE gives 'TableOperations' is not defined error for JavaScript and enlarged editor window goes upper half white and down half grey. Could anyone please help me find out what is going on?

I have also started getting errors when I invoke the full screen editor on two of my moodle sites (same domain (don't ask why!!) (and am using cookie prefixes)).

There is a whole series of errors in Firefox as the editor loads:
The page at http:// ...removed... says
ERROR [create select]
Can't find the requested dropdown definition

followed by:
FIXME: Unknown toolbar item: function forEach(){
[native code]
}

This pattern is repeated maybe 20 times before the editor opens and partially works.

Does anyone have any tips?
