We are using moodle for 30 people now and are managing the users by the authentication method "manual accounts only". We want to increase the number of users to a few hundred. We need a better way to manager the logins then.
If i understood correctly from the documentation i can only save the user accounts in an external database, or use the users from active directory (LDAP)?
But how can i manage the enrollments to courses? can i also make groups of users member of a course? And do i have to do this from within moodle, or in my external database?
