1.2 Beta and IE6 - Insert Image Problem

1.2 Beta and IE6 - Insert Image Problem

Janne,

I made an install of 1.2 beta last night and noticed that when I insert an image into the editor using IE6, it is not sizing correctly. Image appears with only bounding boxes (pic 1).  You can grab a box and stretch the image, but have to guess on aspect ratio (pic 2).  There is no problem with Mozilla on insert image.

Bryan
PS: I can't repeat this behavior here at Moodle.org. Below images were successfully inserted using IE6.

Did you write that image's url manually or by browsing you files? Could you send screenshot also from insertimage -popup before you've pressed ok -button.

Yea, I wrote the image's url manually (see screenshot). This image is publicly accessible if you want to try it.  Uploading the image into Moodle and then using the file browser does work just fine.

I'll put that on my fix list. At the moment if you write manually image's url size size is set to 0x0. This is not a problem in Mozilla because it doesn't implement image tags width, height or alt attributes.
