I did not get a response on my last post, but hoping to get help on this one.

I am still trying to install Activity locking V2.0 with Moodle 1.6.1. After installing the Activity Locking, I am getting the following in the error log after trying to create a new course:

[Thu Oct 19 18:17:18 2006] [error] [client 71.1.149.160] Premature end of script headers: /home/arpdevel/public_html/course/edit.php

I have contacted my web hosting service for support and got the following:

Here is the complete information about the PHP version on our server:
PHP 5.0.5 (cli) (built: Aug 28 2006 04:39:11)
Copyright (c) 1997-2004 The PHP Group
Zend Engine v2.0.5, Copyright (c) 1998-2004 Zend Technologies
with the ionCube PHP Loader v3.1.22, Copyright (c) 2002-2006, by ionCube Ltd., and
with Zend Extension Manager v1.0.10, Copyright (c) 2003-2006, by Zend Technologies
with Zend Optimizer v3.0.0, Copyright (c) 1998-2006, by Zend Technologies

This error you receive "Premature end of script" means that your script can not be executed for some reasons. Please contact the developers of Moodle application and ask them for any assistance they can provide you about the compatibility of our PHP version and their application.

I'm hoping someone can point me in the right direction.

Thanks

Hi Ken,
sorry for the delay I missed your previous post.

As stated in modules and plugins , Activity locking 2.0 is built with moodle 1.6 files and it should be used with it. There are chances that it works also with 1.6.1 but I will have to do some testing to confirm it.

To be sure that we speak about the same version of activity locking can you check that table and confirm that we refer to same version?

If the problem is with the PHP version or one of its components as your web hosting service suggest, I have no easy way to reproduce it here.

Maybe you will be more lucky with another version, developped specially for Moodle 1.6.1 by John under a new name : Score Lock tested by many and with some ideas for it evolution.

I hope it may help,

Bernard
