General help

Hi all,
Not sure where to piut this one, but want to put it soemwher where others can find it when searching.
AFter doing an cvs update today on my 1.6 install, the site was totally stuffed, the main page stopped when the first RSS feed block was to display abd just showed <<<<<<<<rsslib.php, on the admin screen all I got was that message and nothing else.
After a mild panic I went digging in logs and found that Apache was complainign about functions already declared in lib/rsslib.php. Upon further investigation it turns out that the new rsslib.php file had a second copy appended to it! Deleting the second half of the file (in fact I went back to an older version) has cleared the problem.
I am not sure how this would happen or if it will happen to anyone else. This is just a 'Heads-Up" for those that might expereince the same problem.
