Moddlers,

  1. Anyone have five minutes to look over my New HowTo's?   I would appreciate some feedback so I can get busy at writing more of them.

Thanks,

Jerry

Hi Jerry,

Afraid I can't give detailed feedback, I've no admin status.

One thing, I wrote my HowTos with the idea of talking to a complete novice, to me learning about moodle has been intuiative, I haven't really looked at documentation that much so I thought HowTos should be aimed at people less used to bashing around computer systems than myself.  If you agree with my logic I wonder if your HowTos could be more explicit?  What do you think?

PS. what is a 'moddler', a cross eyed moodler perhaps? smilesmilesmilesmilesmile

Thanks for your input!

I understand what you are saying and could use some specific suggestions. I'll write one for your "status" and then you can give me specific ideas of improvements, if you would be willing.
What status level do you have? User, Teacher, Course Creator?

Thanks for any more help you can give.

P.S. A moddler is

a. A cross-eyed moodler
b. A moodler in the US English language pack, like enrollment vs. enrolment
c. A novice moodler who has become way to dependent on spell-check

Yep, answer "C"...but I accept "A" as well. blush smile

Hi Jerry,

Teacher and user.

no need for blush.  My spelling has always been bad and forum messages like email don't have to be spell checked IMHO, just couldn't resist pointing out the humorous term you created in the process smile
