Moodle documentation: standard language for HowTo's

What do people think about having standard descriptions for the HowTo's?  What I mean is we could standardize phrase / action language.  For example, we could choose one phrase below as a standard instead of using all of them in different places...

  1. Use the button Add a new course
  2. Use the Add a new couse button
  3. Press Add a new course
  4. Press the button Add a new course
  5. Click on Add a new course (clown)

One of these may be best, that I don't know.  I am sure there could be lots of discussion about which is better (that is not my intention).  If we standardize phrases now...even if what is choosen is not the best...then it would be an easy "find/replace" to fix them all later on.

But using the same descriptors in all places the documents will be more clear and easy to follow.

I agree with you that standardisation is the way to go.

My choice would be number 5. Maybe Martin can set up a choice for voting?
