Changing the CHOOSE OR UPLOAD A FILE link ?

Dear All,

I would like the CHOOSE OR UPLOAD A FILE link to point to a URL of my choice, instead of the upload/browse for a file screen.  I also want to change the text on CHOOSE OR UPLOAD A FILE to LINK TO A FILE.

I want to keep the SEARCH FOR A WEB PAGE link as it is.

Please can someone advise on this.  I have spent hours looking at .php files with no success.  The objective is to not have uploaded course files on our Moodle server, but to link to them instead.

Just put your link into the box above the button and that should work.

Thanks for the reply.   This is ok if you know what link to put in.

I don't want people to upload course material to the VLE server.  Instead, the link needs to go to the URL of Novell's NetStorage, where you can search for a file on the main file server.

Jonathan, if you're just looking to change the wording of "Choose or Upload a File" to "Link to a File", you can do this in the resource.php file in your language pack.
