Hi,
In a course, the " editing Teacher" role has the permission "moodle/site:accessallgroups" marked as "Prohibit" at course context. However, a user with the " editing Teacher" role who was added to some groups is having access to all groups in the course.
How do I restrict the "editing Teacher" role to only access the groups where it was added?
Ricardo
PS: using Moodle 3.11
- Can you check the teacher definitely is not in the groups they are not supposed to see?
- Can you check that the teacher doesn't have another role site wide (eg Manager) with higher permissions than the editing teacher role?
Hi, Mary.
Thanks for the quick response.
After I posted this message, I tried to access the activity where the user did not belong to a group, and I realized they wouldn't be able to view it.
In other words, everything is working as expected.
But the user can still edit the activity settings (Assignment).
What permission do I need to turn off to not allow him to edit this activity?
