Couldn't delete submitted Assignment in Moodle 4.1.6+

Dear Folks,

Needs your help......

I can't remove the submitted assignment by students, it is shows an error that Assignment cannot be removed ,  when i tried the option remove submission

Even the edited or resubmitted assignment is not updating in grades page , When we looks for grading the same old uploaded documents is showing.

Can you help me to fix it please...?

Hi Sam,

I discovered in Assignment FAQ that you can delete a student's assignment if you have the capability mod/assign:editothersubmission.

This capability is not set for any of the default roles. It seems that the safest way to allow trusted teachers to edit or delete student assignments is via a custom role with the capability allowed.
