I am using Moodle 4.3 and have created a quiz with multiple essay questions. I am adding comments as I mark each essay question using the "Make comment or override mark" link. I'd like to be able to extract the comments directly from the database but cannot find where in the database schema the comments are stored. Any assistance appreciated.

Solved. I found it in mdl_question_attempt_step_data under value.
