Dear All,
I am sure there is an simple answer to this that I have overlooked.
I have a Gradebook with 8 quizzes- Max Grade = 800, Minimum passing grade is 560.00 I need to have the final grade hidden until all have been passed.
Each quiz requires a 70% of better to pass. The next learning activity and quiz has restrictions that the previous quiz was successfully passed.
The course completion requirements are that all activities must be completed.

For each quiz the Marks condition is deselected. My problem that I cannot solve is that if the student achieves high scores at the first six quizzes the Pass grade is display on the Student's Grades page. I adjusted with the weights, and that still hasn't resolved my issue. Thoughts?

Pretty sure you will need to write a custom calculation for the category so that minimum scores are required for each quiz to pass the category...

I attempted to write the custom calculation for the category/course total.

=MIN(QA, QB, QC, QD, QE], [[QF, QG, QH)

This results in an Invalid Formula response.

After reading through other posts and looking through the trackers, I am stumped.

Why is does this results in an error?

I made the major mistake in copying the formula into the post above, so it is gibberish.
I should have typed the formula as:

=MIN(QA, QB, QC, QD, QE, QF, QG, QH)

here is an image of the formula, since the forum wants to hyperlink it.
