Anyone using moodle4.4 dev?
I am testing it on my local computer to see if it is working or not.
I find that when I click a week and delete, for example
I have three weeks listed in weekly format in my course.
Dec 3 - 9
Dec 10 - 16
Dec 17 - 23
When I trying to delete Dec 10 - 16
It instead delete Dec 17 - 23
and it become
Dec 3 - 9
Dec 10 - 16
Why? Does this circumstance means we cannot delete a week after start or middle course and always have to delete the latest one?

this is the normal way that course weekly format works in Moodle.
I think you are dealing with the situation where the students have a week's holiday in the middle of their course.
Here are two possible ways to show a gap in the weekly format:
(a) hide the holiday week - using the menu item "hide" with the open eye.
(b) keep the week visible, but just add a "text and media area" as content. A message like "have a nice holiday" and a funny picture could be appropriate.
