Workshop marks vs Gradebook marks

Workshop marks vs Gradebook marks

Hi everyone,
I have checked the marks appearing in the gradebook for a workshop.
I was thinking the the final mark will be just adding up the "grade for submission" plus the "grade for assessment".
But no.
I know the "grade for submission" is a really complicated statistical thing. And I am ok with my ignorance there...
But the final grade, the one appearing in the Gradebook? Shouldn't it be just the adding up of both grades?
Please, enlighten me!

Hi, no. It creates two columns for you.
However you can add them in the gradebook easily because they are in the same category.
You can see here I have four workshops in the same course. The grade of submission adds to 90 and the grade of assessment adds to 10.
Set to Simple weighted mean of grades. Include empty grades.
They will function as if they were just one grade from 0 to 100 per workshop in the final calculation.
