I apologize if this topic has been discussed before, but I can not find an easy solution.
There are some plugins for wordpress which connect to third party validation systems which use AI, and require the user to upload a photo of themselves along with a photo ID.
This technology is now widely used on many different types of platforms such as dating sites.
This is what I would like to find for moodle. In order to ensure that, upon initial enrolment, the student is a real person and is who they say they are. Obviously there are always ways around this, but this is a decent enough system for now.
Preferably I would like it to link to a service which does not cost an arm and a leg. If they do not publish pricing on their website, and I have to ask, I probably can't afford it.
I'm not too interested in proctoring exams at this point. Perhaps later for that. I just want initial validation.
