A student reported this morning that they received an encoding error (ENCODING_ERR) when attempting to submit a Word Document (docx) from their iPad to an assignment. Screenshot:
The docx appears normal, and the student was able to submit it through the non-app web interface on their iPad. Our Moodle environment is a fairly standard Moodle 4.2.2. The user agent reported by the iPad is Mobile/15E148 MoodleMobile 4.2.0. Uninstalling and reinstalling the app did not resolve the issue. We can't correlate the error with any server-side errors. No other users have reported this issue. A similar issue was reported here in 2018, but wasn't resolved.
