Please anyone who can assist on the error am facing wile creating a feedback. am using Moodle V 4.2.2

Below is the error message.

Table "feedback" does not exist

Looks like something went wrong with your install/upgrade...is the feedback folder in the mod folder?

Thanks for your reply. 


The feedback is in Blocks folder. Which i have tried to replace from a new installation files. But havent worked as well.

That is not the one you are missing. There is also a feedback mod ... the block just shows data from the mod.

Hello Emma.

I have checked on this, and replace from another working moodle instance, 

but still experiencing the same error.

Have replaced the feedback folder in /mod and /block.

but no change yet,,, any advice please.

Was this a fresh install or an upgrade?

Upgrade from 4.1 to 4.2.


The setup has been there for some time. I just do updates as per updates notifications.

I suggest restoring back to 4.1 and trying the upgrade again - something must have deleted the feedback data from the database - you are going to have to restore to get it back...
Also, how exactly did you upgrade? Was it a one click installer like Softaculous or did you manually upgrade (via git or with new code version download?)
