i am using developing a plugin in moodle version 4.1 and i want to add messaging feature in this plugin i found in moodle messaging api, but i couldnt know if i can use it in this version of moodle or not.
I don't think you can use this api to create your own private chat. Because the api is related to the chat and notification system that already exist and use in Moodle.
