Restricting Log Data Access for Non-editing Teachers in Separate Groups

Hello everyone,

We are using non-editing teachers and the separate groups setting in our courses, so that each teacher can only see and work with their own group. This has been working well so far. However, we have noticed that when teachers go to "Reports" in the course and access log data, they can view information for all participants enrolled in the course, not just the log data of the participants in their own group.

We would like to restrict this access so that teachers can only see the log data of their group members. We are using Moodle 4.1.2+.

Does anyone have any ideas on how to implement this requirement? Any help and suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Non-editing Teachers in Separate Groups

I'd like some help with this situation please. I am struggling to prevent each non-editing tutor from seeing each others' folders. 
  • Course settings: separate groups forced
  • non-editing tutor in own group
  • each folder with restrict access to each group
  • Section is restricted to all groups to make it not visible to students (grid format)
  • Tried prohibit permission accessallgroups - they still see each others
Works with prohibit capability 'ignore availability restrictions' but this results in only the tutor account visible in participants list
