QR code login in app - not in the same network?

Hey guys,

I am running Moodle 3.11 and have just added a premium plan. Mobile services are activated and I can login manually. Now I want to login with qr code and offer it to the students but the app on my iPhone tells me, that I need to be in the same network. But my phone is in the same network as my computer. What am I doing wrong? Other person from different location gets the same message.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Best regards,
Dominik

Hi Isabel,

Thank you for your answer. I still can't figure it out. I am not using a proxy with my client machines, neither the server does. So I don't have any ip address to fill in that field named 'reverseproxyignore'.
Is using IPv6 perhaps the cause?

Kind regards,
Dominik

I solved the problem by deleting the IPv6 record for the moodle server in DNS. Not the best solution, but it works. Is there a better support of IPv6 in newer moodle versions?
