Hey there,

I'm looking for a way how to split participants in different groups based on their progress in the course.

I.e. when they finished 'Quiz #1' they shall automatically be added to a group 'Stage #1'.

I assume this must be possible even with Moodle standard, but I don't know how (perhaps I'm overlooking the obvious?).

If not, is there a Plugin that can do this for me?

Hi Stefan,

Would be interested if this is possible, too. I don’t think so, but maybe I’m missing something. (We have it on the roadmap for the next version of our plugin pulse - we want to add three „actions“: add to group, add to cohort and enrol into other course)

The only solution I can think of would be to use one of the group selection modules and use access restrictions to make it only available when the student has completed each quiz.

I also thought about the group choice module, but this doesn't help in my case:

The purpose is to structure users into groups according to their progress to be able to use the Reengage plugin to send group-specific messages.
