Dear all,

QA testing for Moodle 4.0 has now been completed!

A big thank you to all who have helped with the 4.0 QA test cycle. All 609 tests were completed in just over 6 weeks, which is a great achievement considering the many big changes in Moodle 4.0! 👏

We are now ready for the release of Moodle 4.0 on Tuesday 19 April 😀

Everyone who ran at least one QA test will get a listing in the Testing credits.

Thanks all,

Sander

We came across the below test and it doesnt have a QA 4.0 counterpart. Is this ok to exclude this? Because I tried out the testing instructions and the test failed for me

In what way did it fail for you? The feature seems to be working to me. Here is a screen-grab from https://qa.moodledemo.net/question/edit.php?courseid=2&cat=7%2C25&qpage=0&category=4%2C25&qbshowtext=0&recurse=0&recurse=1&showhidden=0 logged in as teacher:

I see that the QA test still refers to the old name for the column, which was changed to be easier to understand just before release, but that is just a minor problem with the QA test.
