We create separate "resit" assignments on courses. The trouble with this is that it puts a due date entry in all the enrolled students' calendars whether they need to do the resit or not.
One solution is to create a resit group, add the resitting students to that group and make that assignment visible only to that group. But this does require teachers to know about groups, and how to use them, which not all do.
But I'm interested to know what other solutions/work-arounds folk do for this scenario. I'm interested in no-code and code solutions. Just looking for ideas.
