Dear Moodle Experts,

I want to design a calculated multi-choice question in which the options are evaluated using variables in the question. However, the answer is to be given in the following (or similar) manner:

The values outside and inside the square-root bracket are evaluated by the student. Expressing answer like this sometimes help.

Can this be achieved?

Or what is the best way to design such problems?

Thank you.

Best regards,

Ajay

PS: I am sorry to re-post this. But, I didn't get any response to my earlier post.

You could insert an image of the answer (rather than text) in each answer choice

Hi Behan,

Thank you very much for your response. But that way, it is no more "calculated multichoice" type question, isn't it?
