Hi everyone
Quick question here:
We are running Moodle 3.8.2 and noticed our Server/Environment check says we are running MySQL 5.6.45.86.1 but Moodle doc says 3.8.2 should run MySQL 5.6.
Are we running the wrong version of MySQL or is the Moodle doc saying that MySQL 5.6 is a minimum requirement?
If it is a minimum requirement, what is the maximum MySQL version that can be run on 3.8.2?
If you know good sites to get this info that would help too, because I have to show the info to our IT dept.

Recommended is always the "latest". (Same link)

Sorry, what is ill-advised?
We were looking at the MySQL version because of prep to migrate to Moodle Workplace. Had to upgrade our 3.8.2 to 3.10 before migrating.
