Hi David,

I noticed that the Invitation enrolment plugin is seeking a new maintainer.
https://moodle.org/plugins/enrol_invitation

I would like to volunteer to maintain this plugin. I am currently reviewing and integrating several forks of the plugin and fixing a few bugs to ensure compatibility with currently supported versions of Moodle.

Please let me know if there is anything more I need to do or that you would like to know.

I just saw this plugin yesterday when looking what already exists and thought it marches perfectly my need. What a lucky chance that you adopted it right now!

Michael, I would LOVE to be able to check out your latest version. I'm working on something for which this MAY be a solution and I'd love to try it out. My email address is up-to-date, although I'm not sure what my max file size is.

Hi Blair and Pascal,

It is not ready for relase yet but you can find the latest version on GitHub at:

https://github.com/michael-milette/moodle-enrol_invitation

Note that I recently made a bunch of changes but did not have time yet to try it out. It should work but I recommend trying it in a sandbox Moodle site first given the Alpha state of the code and the documentation.

Feel free to report issues in the Issues tracker on that same site. Help with testing is always appreciated.

If this is urgent, you can always sponsor my work by contacting me through my website. Otherwise, I am currently only planning on doing the next official release in December 2021 as work on this project is not sponsored by anyone but me right now.
