The permission moodle/course:viewhiddenuserfields is set to allow for several our staff roles, but still only site administrators can see the hidden fields in the profile of participants in their courses.
Is ther a mismatch in the settings for the additional fields? We have set this as "Not visible", to ensure to keep the privacy:
Also, there are three alternatives in the drop-down, but four in the description:
I tried to change this to Visible to user but that made no difference, staff role can still not see the additional fields.
