randomized questions used evenly

Hi all,

I am wondering if there is a way to evenly use a set of questions that are randomized. For example, if a quiz has four possible questions (A, B, C, and D) and I have 20 students, I would like to have five students to get question A, five students for question B, etc.

Thank you,

Alvin

That is not how 'random' works. At least, it is a different sort of random than Moodle uses.

Whe do you need this? Isn't 'about 5' good enough?

Tim's reply is correct.

As an alternative, you could create four Groups in a Grouping, and randomly put these 20 students into each group. Then create four quizzes, one with each single question, A, B, C, and D, and use the Groups to restricting access.  Yes, a little cumbersome, but it should work!
