adding a custom html field in database views

Hello everyone, i'm trying to replicate what was discussed in this discussion https://moodle.org/mod/forum/discuss.php?d=398446 but i'm stuck in the part of adding the custom html field to the views. Can anybody help me to achieve that step?

Are you stuck with adding the field? Or adding the field to the views?

The field is “Text Area” if that helps? It’s added to the views in the same way as other fields.

Hi Jon, thanks for your reply, i've been using a text field for the Name of the entry. I'll try changing it to a Text area and let you know how it goes.
