I created quiz and students attempted it
then I duplicated it, and changed some questions
the original quiz changed and the grades for students are wrong after using regrade
why is this happening and how to solve it?

this is expected behavior. When you duplicate a quiz, you don't create a duplicate of the questions but you're using the same questions (or something like that). As a consequence, any edit in the questions of the new quiz changes the questions wherever they are.
If you want to re-use a question and modify it, you have to use the Question Bank. First, create/edit the questions, then create a quiz, and finally add the corresponding questions to that quiz.

Additionally, for that first quiz, when you go into the quiz you do have a choice to do a "dry run regrade." Then you can decide what to do about student's answers, which you want to accept, which you want to reject.
