Good morning,

I'm not sure if the problem is with Moodle or with the theme. 

I'm using M 3.10 and the latest Adapatable. 

When logging in as a student, a yellow band appears across the top that has three clickable items: 

  • my name
  • the student's name
  • Log out. 

The problem is that none of these is responsive.

Is that what you mentioned the only problem of non-responsive links?
It looks like an issue with JS.
Try, for example, to enable editing on and see if the links for adding new acitivity/resource or editing are workable. If there is a problem with javascript, those links will not be working as well.

Quickest way to check if it’s a problem with the theme is to change the theme to Boost and see if the problem still occurs. If it does, it narrows the search.
