404 Not Found means that the web server could not find the Moodle source code in the folder for the web site.

Some things to check:

  1. Maybe you need to put the Moodle source code into a folder such as public_html.
  2. Maybe the Moodle source code is in a subfolder called moodle so you need to put /moodle at the end of the URL.
  3. Maybe the DNS record is pointing to the wrong web server.

If it's still not working, share a screenshot of the Moodle source code folder in cPanel's File Manager. Remove or hide any information in the screenshot that you don't want to share on the Internet.

It might also be helpful to know how you installed your Moodle. Which directions are you following? Typically you set up the database prior to installing Moodle, but it appears that you have this in reverse.
