In physics and chemistry, it is really important for students to know their units.  Is there any way of unlocking the first unit in calculated questions so that the scaling can be set by the teacher.  By locking the scaling at 1.0, the teacher is forced to put the correct unit at the top.  This would seem like such a simple code change to make the question so much more effective.  Maths teachers may work with numbers but science teachers work with measurements.  Without a correct unit, numbers are often meaningless in science which is why I think this change would really be of benefit to many teachers that use moodle.
