How to change the "Log Out" text from the user menu?

I am trying to change the name of "LOG OUT" in the user menu as we are using Moodle as part of our website and users are finding the name "Log Out" a misnormer. Please help me to change the text "Log Out" to something else. Where should I change? Is there an option in moodle itself or should I modify the code? Please suggest!

The general rule of thumb is that, unless you're a Moodle developer, you shouldn't edit core Moodle code. Fortunately, there's an easy way to achieve what you want without touching code.

Settings > Site administration > Language > Language customization

Choose 'moodle.php' in the selection box. Then, in the 'Only strings containing' box, enter 'Log out' and click 'Show strings'. Change core > log out to the customised string as you desire. Then save changes to the language pack.

It's hard for me to see why 'log out' is a misnomer, but I'll defer to your judgement on that one.
