Hello,

In assignments, is it possible to configure them in such a way that when a student posts a comment, the teacher receives a notification (in similar way to the notifications received when the studen sends the assignment)?

Hi Enrique,

I've had a look and wasn't able to find any feature or setting that would allow this. Why would you want to have these comment notifications in an assignment? To me, this would make more sense in a portfolio environment (like Mahara) where a dialogue between teacher and student makes more sense than in an assessment activity such as Assignment.

Well, I think the reason is very simple: to know when a student posts a comment, in the same way as you receive a notification when an assignment is sent.

Otherwise, you have to be visiting regularly the assignments of all the students to check if there is some comment.
