I have a website with Moodle 3.9.2 and theme Eguru.
There are marketing spots on the frontpage with icons you should be able to replace. But although I am following the instructions the marketing spots become empty whenever I try to replace them. I have tried several icons, baby, hammer, ruler, to name a few. I have added some screen shots for clarity. Does anyone know what is going on?
The Marketing Spot setting has a link – "List is here" – but that shows icons for the current Font Awesome version, whereas Eguru uses an old version, 4.7.0. There's a list of icons for 4.7.0 and these should all work, e.g. 'thumbs-up'.
There's a bug report for this issue.
There's a specific forum for theme issues, theme questions posted there may get a better response as that's where the theme experts are.
