How to Related Multiple Choice Questions (Grouped together) in a shuffled quiz?

I have a part of the quiz with multiple questions pertaining to a specific scenario. In an offline classroom setting, this is usually grouped together. How do I include this on moodle with a shuffled quiz/exam.

Specific scenario:

  • 100 items
  • Items 1-49, 56-100 are shuffled multiple choice questions with shuffled answers
  • Items 50-55 are related multiple choice questions that should be grouped together. Questions and answers are shuffled as well.
    • [Question scenario: "If x is..."]
    • [Question 1]
    • [Question 2]
    • [Question 3]
    • [Question 4]
    • [Question 5]

Is this possible? Thanks in advance!

Hi Jed,
if I understand your question right, you should group the questions into categories. So, items 1-49 and 56-100 should be in a different category than items 50-55. The shuffled question configuration selects the questions from a category.

Hi Beatriz!

Thanks for replying. By this, do you mean category from the question bank? Would you mind giving me a runthrough how it would work? Many thanks!
