Hello

When trying to grade an uploaded file using the annotate pdf we are getting :-
Cannot open the PDF. The file may be corrupt, or in an unsupported format.

I've followed all the threads I can find.

We are using Google converter because I can't get the unoconv to work at all. The connection tests all work for the Google converter.

We are on Moodle 3.8.4 and on  Windows servers so hard to match to threads I've found specifically but the gist of it I'm pretty sure I've checked.

It is not a shared server.

Ghost script is working - the path gets a green tick and when I click the test thing I get the smiley face and it says it is working.

I've so far had loading forever or unsupported format on submitted work by students.
I've tried doc x relatively small and no reserved characters in the file name just in case as tests. Nothing exotic in the documents either.

Debug produces nothing.

Is there anything in the set up I need to know that I've missed. For example does it matter if ghost script and the python parts are not on the same drives.

I'm hopeful that someone can suggest something easily overlooked because I've run out of ideas and I really want to make this work again.

Thank you

Heather

The assignments themselves should have 'Accepted File Types' to restrict what students can upload for the assignment.

Hello,
Could you solve your problem?
I am having the same issue with my Moodle installation made with Softaculous in a CPanel (Linux) server
(that is not a shared one)

The Moodle version I am currently using is
3.9.2 Build 20200914

and the PHP version is 7.2
PS: I have double checked the PHP extensions list to see if there is something missing and everything is OK
