I'm wondering if it is possible to use anything in the active directory to dictate what "user roles" are given to users when the users are created?
To try and make it as simple as possible, I have a "staff" role, which allows visibility of a certain category that I don't want non-staff teachers to see.
I'd like this to be allocated automatically based on their security group or similar from the AD, as assigning the role to 1000s of users on an ongoing basis is not an option..
Any other suggestions would be appreciated
