Hello Moodle Guru's

Here is my situation, I am running moodle 3.8 since more than 6 month on a shared hosting (ovh), connected to an external Private SQL Database.

The load on the shared hosting ix now exceeding the shared hosting capacity, so i have "purchased" a shared hosting (running on Ubuntu 18.04), I have installed Moodle 3.9 and all the dependencies.

What is the safe way to "migrate all the datas from the "old" moodle to the new one (including plugins, users, courses, etc...)?

Can I just point the new moodle instance to the database?

I don't want to f/.@# up, as we are using the old one on a daily bases for our school online lessons.

Thanks for your appreciated assistance!
