@Giovanni and @Beatriz: it's a very common thing to speed up / slow down video on platforms like Coursera.org.
I agree that it's not always pedagogically sound, but it is a very nice to have. Recommended though, if you happen to want to speed up things: make sure there are transcript files available for people to read along as well. That makes sense from a UDL (Universal Design for Learning) perspective.
